Iqram Hussain works at the Department of Anesthesiology, Weill Cornell Medicine, Cornell University, NY, USA. Joshua Babalola  completed his doctoral studies recently during which he investigated the combinational effects of Type 2 diabetes and protein post translational modification in the pathophysiology of Alzheimer's disease. <br> Joshua is interested in translating life science skills into solving real life problems relating to microbial infections, aging, metabolic dysfunctions and neurodegenerative diseases. Aside these, he advocates for inclusive science and lifestyle changes. Joshua's educational background includes an MSc in Medical Microbiology from Hallym University, South Korea and a PhD in Human Medicine from Medical University of Graz, Austria. He also holds a BSc in Microbiology from Ekiti State University, Nigeria. Dr. Arpin's research focuses on the application of quantitative methods to the study of social psychological processes, including social interactions, social emotions, and health behavioral outcomes. She has conducted extensive research and published in the areas of loneliness and social determinants of health, using experimental and survey methodology. Dr. Arpin also has experience as a methodology and data analytic consultant on several large grant-funded projects, including DOD-funded intervention studies targeting well-being and social resilience among service-members.

Dr. Bala brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role as an Associate Professor in Clinical Pharmacy at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, USM. He has a proven track record of success in his field, having held key leadership positions such as Director at the Malaysian National Poison Centre and Program Chairman (Clinical Pharmacy) at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, USM. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from USM and a PhD from Brighton and Sussex Medical School, UK. Additionally, he has been appointed as Visiting Senior Lecturer at King's College London and as a Fellow of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Drug Information at the National Poison Centre. <br> Bala's research focuses on the areas of clinical pharmacy practice and medication safety, as well as geriatric pharmacy. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed journal articles/abstracts and has been invited as a guest speaker at numerous international and domestic scientific events. He is an experienced internal and external examiner for over 40 PhD and Master thesis and has actively reviewed manuscripts for international academic journals. Bala's teaching activities encompass both undergraduate and postgraduate-level instruction, and he has supervised the research of numerous postgraduate students. He is committed to curriculum development and has implemented innovative and interactive teaching methods to improve student learning outcomes. Carissa van den Berk Clark, Ph.D., LMSW, is an associate professor of family and community medicine. Prior to joining the department, she received her Ph.D. in social welfare policy from the Luskin School of Public Affairs at UCLA where she also completed a pre-doctoral training at the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs. She was also a NIDA postdoctoral fellow at the Washington University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. Currently, she is a RWJ IRL fellow, as well as outreach and communications director for the SLU ARCHNet practice based research network and the deputy director of the SLU Area Health Education Center. Her research focuses heavily on substance abuse, mental health, care coordination and uses community participatory methodology.

Ariel D. Kalil is the Daniel Levin Professor of Public Policy Studies at the University of Chicago. She is a faculty research fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research and a research associate at the Population Studies Center at the University of Michigan. She is also a faculty member in the Harris School of Public Policy Studies and in the College at the University of Chicago. Kalil's research lies at the intersection of child development and public policy. She is particularly interested in the effect of early childhood interventions on health and economic outcomes in adulthood. Her work has been published in leading social science journals, including the American Economic Review, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, and the Journal of Political Economy. Kalil earned her PhD in Developmental Psychology from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor in 1996, her MA in Social Psychology from the University of Colorado System in 1993, and her BA in Psychology and French Literature from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1991.

Christian Waugh, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Psychology at Wake Forest University, NC, is an expert in the study of stress resilience, emotions, and effective coping habits. His research features resilience as the result of stress, trauma, and the ability to experience positive emotions in times of stress. Dr. Waugh has been twice honored for teaching excellence at Wake Forest, is a professional speaker, and has published several dozen scientific articles.

Lauren Duncan received a doctorate in personality psychology and a graduate certificate in women’s studies from the University of Michigan, and a bachelor’s in economics from the University of Southern California. She is currently working with Smith students to understand why some people become politically active whereas others remain inactive. Some recent projects include the development of measures of group consciousness or politicized group identities—specifically feminist consciousness and queer consciousness. She is also working on a psychobiography of Gloria Steinem to try to explain how she became a feminist icon. Most recently, she has been collecting and translating oral histories of Italian feminist and queer activists in Italy. <br>
