I'm an Assistant Professor of Geography in the Department of Geography and Spatial Sciences at the University of Delaware, and faculty in the Minerals, Materials, and Society Program. My recently released book, "Rare Earth Frontiers: From Terrestrial Subsoils to Lunar Landscapes" with Cornell University Press, is based on five years' research in the capitals and borderlands of China, Brazil, and the USA. It recently received the Meridian Book Award from the American Association of Geographers for its "unusually important contribution to the art and science of geography." Sutirtha Bagchi is an Associate Professor of Economics at Villanova University where he teaches courses in microeconomics and public economics. Dr. Bagchi has a Ph.D. in Business Economics and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan–Ann Arbor. He also received an MBA from Purdue University West Lafayette, in addition to a B. Tech. (With Honors) in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.

Jim Samuel is an Associate Professor of Practice and Executive Director of the Informatics Program at the Bloustein School. He is an information and artificial intelligence (AI) scientist, with significant industry experience in finance, technology, entrepreneurship and data analytics. Dr. Samuel’s primary research covers human intelligence and artificial intelligences interaction and information philosophy.  Dr. Samuel’s applied research focuses on the optimal use of big data and smart data driven AI applications, textual analytics, natural language processing and artificially intelligent public opinion informatics. His expertise extends to socioeconomic implications of AI, applied machine learning, social media analytics, AI education and AI bias. Dr. Samuel completed his Ph.D. from the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College – City University of New York, and he also has M.Arch and M.B.A (International Finance) degrees.  Dr. Samuel has worked with large multinational financial services corporations, and advises businesses and organizations on data analytics and AI driven value creation strategies. He is passionate about research driven thought leadership in AI, information philosophy, analytics and informatics. 

Dr. Ryan Howell is an Associate Professor at San Francisco State University. His research interests include the psychology of goals and how people pursue and achieve them. Dr. Howell received his PhD in Social/Personality Psychology from the University of California, Riverside in 2005.

Martin Dietrich Brauch is a Lead Researcher at CCSI. He leads economic and legal research, training, and advisory work, with a focus on legal and policy frameworks and practices for sustainable investment to achieve climate change mitigation and adaptation goals—including through decarbonization and a just transition to net-zero emission energy systems and economies—along with other SDGs.

James C. Kaufman is a Professor of Educational Psychology at the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut. He has written or edited more than 50 books. These include: the recently published *The Creativity Advantage* (Cambridge); the forthcoming *Lessons in Creativity from Musical Theatre Characters* (with Dana P. Rowe; Routledge); two editions of *Cambridge Handbook of Creativity* (with Robert J. Sternberg) and five other Cambridge Handbooks; two editions of *Creativity 101* (Springer); and a book on terrible baseball pitchers with his father and a book on pseudoscience with his wife. James has developed many theories, most notably the Four C’s (with Ron Beghetto). He has developed several self-report measures of creativity and is currently focusing on positive outcomes of creativity. James has won many awards, including Mensa’s research award, the Torrance Award from the National Association for Gifted Children, the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children’s International Creativity Award, and APA’s Berlyne, Arnheim, and Farnsworth awards. He co-founded two major journals, *Psychology of Aesthetics, Creativity, and the Arts* and *Psychology of Popular Media Culture* and is the current Senior Associate Editor for *Creativity Research Journal*. He has tested Dr. Sanjay Gupta’s creativity on CNN; written the book and lyrics to the musical *Discovering Magenta* (which played NYC and has a cast album); and appeared onscreen, complete with white lab coat, in the comic book documentary *Independents*.

I am an academic thought leader, author, internationally recognized expert and consultant on transitional justice, genocides, reparations, and truth commissions. I have travelled to Ghana, South Africa, Cambodia, and Armenia and across the US and Canada presenting on the Armenian genocide, reparations for slavery and Native American genocides. I have written several articles, book chapters and co-edited volumes on truth commissions, restorative justice, genocides and reparations. I have also authored two books in grief and loss. I am currently Associate Professor and Chair of the African and African American Studies Program at New Jersey City University. I was previously Associate Director of the Centre for Caribbean Thought and Lecturer of Transitional Justice in the Department of Government, University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona (2007-2016). I attended the distinguished Calabar High School ( Jamaica) from 1989 -1996. I received his B.Sc. in Political Science and International Relations (First Class Honours) in 1999 and M.Sc. (2002) from The University of the West Indies, Mona. I was awarded the prestigious Fulbright Graduate Fellowship between 2000-2002. I later earned his M.A. (2002) and Ph.D. in Political Science in 2006 from Brown University. For stellar contributions to academia, in 2021 I was awarded The UWI Pelican Award, the highest accolade commended by the UWI Alumni Association to a fellow alumni for global distinction in his field of expertise. In December 2021 I awarded the Distinguished Educator Award by the Union of Jamaican Alumni Association USA for stellar contributions to the field of education in the diaspora. I have a passion for education, social justice, and mentoring. And I help to mold the lives of many young men at Calabar, UWI and across Jamaica. I serve as Academic Affairs Coordinator for the Calabar Old Boys’ Association in Jamaica and the Director of Academic Enrichment for the Calabar Alumni NY Chapter. I am 2nd Vice President of the Community Education Council of District 29 in New York City. I am Chairman of the Each One Reach One Foundation. I am a frequent contributor to current affairs programmes in Jamaica, the UK, Canada, Armenia, and the United States

Jonathan Rosa is an Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Education at Stanford University, as well as a faculty affiliate in Anthropology and the Center for Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity. He studies multilingualism, language ideology, and curriculum, with an emphasis on language education and structural inequality in global contexts. Dr. Rosa received his PhD in Sociocultural and Linguistic Anthropology from the University of Chicago in 2010, his MA in Sociocultural and Linguistic Anthropology, also from the University of Chicago in 2006, and his BA in Linguistics and Educational Studies from Swarthmore College in 2003.

Nathan J. Cook is an environmental policy expert with a background in behavioral science. Dr. Cook's research focuses on the intersection of environment, society, and economy, with a particular emphasis on sustainability policy. He is especially interested in analyzing policies related to climate, natural resources, and conservation from the perspective of economic and social sustainability. He uses a variety of methods and data sources, including behavioral experiments, large-scale surveys, and data science techniques. Dr. Cook received his Ph.D. in Political Science with a focus on environmental policy from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2018, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Behavioral Science in 2020, also at the University of Colorado Boulder. After completing his education, Dr. Cook joined the faculty at Indiana University Indianapolis as an Assistant Professor in the Paul H. O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, a highly ranked public affairs school. To date, Dr. Cook's projects have received over $1.3 million in support from the National Science Foundation, including a [project](https://www.nsf.gov/awardsearch/showAward?AWD_ID=2242507&HistoricalAwards=false) that is currently in force. He has published articles in top-ranked journals in the area of environment and sustainability. Tensie Whelan is the Director of the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business, where she is bringing her 25 years of experience working on local, national and international sustainability issues to engage businesses in proactive and innovative mainstreaming of sustainability. Tensie has been recognized by Ethisphere as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Business Ethics and was a Citi Fellow in Leadership and Ethics at NYU Stern. Her research interests include ESG investing and sustainable business.

Anne Jobin is a Swiss sociologist and researcher who specializes in the areas of science, technology, and society (STS). She holds a Doctor of Social Sciences from Université de Lausanne, and has been a visiting research scholar at Tufts University and Cornell University. She is currently a researcher at the (ETH) and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.

Brian Bushee is the Americus Brothers Professor of Accounting at the University of Pennsylvania. He is a Visiting Scholar at the University of Michigan and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His research interests include the role of accounting information in capital markets, the effect of accounting disclosures on managerial incentives and resource allocation, and the economics of professional service firms. He has been published in the Journal of Accounting and Economics, the Journal of Accounting Research, and the Review of Accounting Studies, among other journals. He has been a consultant to the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Financial Accounting Standards Board.

Melinda Haughey is a PhD student in Human Computer Interaction at the University of Washington. She is also the co-founder and CEO of Proxi, a startup that is developing a new way to interact with technology using proximity sensors. Prior to her work in HCI, she was a chemical engineer, and she holds a BS from Texas A&M University.

Lea-Rachel Kosnik is a Professor of Economics at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She received her BA and MA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and her PhD from the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research focuses on renewable energy and climate change, and she is considered a leading expert on the topic of hydroelectric energy generation in the U.S., and hydropower regulation by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. In recent years her research has expanded to include analyses of the academic economics profession itself, including with a focus on gender issues and DEI initiatives. Methodologically, her skill set includes textual analysis and natural language processing, along with traditional econometric techniques. In 2016 she received an honorable mention for article of the year from *Contemporary Economic Policy*, and in 2022 she gave the keynote address to the Illinois Economics Association. Dr. Kosnik is perhaps best known (in a service capacity) as the Association of Environmental and Resource Economist’s (AERE’s) Midwest representative, annually organizing the full track of AERE-sponsored environmental sessions at the Midwest Economic Association meetings. Dr. Kosnik has also served as President, Past-President, and Board Member of the Transportation and Public Utilities Group (TPUG), and as a Department Chair.
