About

I am a highly experienced and dedicated scientist with a Ph.D in Biology. My research interests include controlled environment agriculture, insect rearing, plant and insect ecology, and climate change. Throughout my academic career, I have been involved in six research projects, including examining the effect of artificial diet composition on insect growth and fecundity. After completing my Ph.D, I joined Dream Harvest Farming Company LLC as a Research Scientist. In this role, I lead a team of researchers in developing innovative solutions for sustainable agriculture, such as the development of novel methods to produce spinach in a vertical hydroponic farm. I have been responsible for managing research projects, analyzing data, and publishing scientific findings in peer-reviewed journals.

Research Scientist / April, 2022Present

I am in charge of in-house research projects and product development pipelines by using modern statistical and scientific methods to perform experiments as needed by the marketing and operation team. I regularly conduct literature reviews on the most current technology and practices, and present research results to upper management in weekly meetings using PowerBI or PowerPoint. I monitor, clean, and analyze operational data collected from data entry forms and data loggers weekly. My research efforts have led to a non-linear growth model with 90% accuracy, a 27% improvement in product yield, and 4 new marketable consumer products.
