About

Dr. Yoke Yoon is an accomplished aerospace engineer with over 20 years of experience in the industry. She holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder, where she focused on satellite navigation and orbit determination. She also holds a Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Missouri and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Iowa State University. Dr. Yoon has worked in various roles and organizations throughout her career, including as a Visiting Scientist at NASA/Jet Propulsion Laboratory and a GPS Research Scientist at the German Space Operations Center. She has also served as a Senior Engineer and Technical Project Manager at Deimos S.L.U., a Low Earth Orbit Precise Orbit Determination Specialist at Positim U.G. at EUMETSAT, and a Satellite Navigation Consultant at Positim U.G. In addition, Dr. Yoon has held positions at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) as a Project Scientist II, at Hemisphere GNSS as a Precise GNSS R&D Network Manager, and at OneWeb as the Director of Flight Dynamics Engineering. She is currently the Founder and Principal Consultant at GlobaNav Solutions LLC, where she provides consulting services in satellite navigation, orbit determination, and flight dynamics. Dr. Yoon's expertise and contributions to the field of aerospace engineering have been recognized through numerous awards and publications. She was a member of several professional organizations, including the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) and the Institute of Navigation (ION). She is also a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Colorado.
