About

My name is Phan Thi Loan (Lizzie) and currently I am living in Round Rock city, Texas, the USA. I received my PhD from the International Doctoral Degree program in Climate Change and Sustainable Development, National Taiwan University, Taiwan in June 2022. My research interests are very broad but are mainly concerned with climate change adapatation, adaptive capacity, political ecology, local community engagement, protected area management, ecotourism and development issues. My studies have combinations of both qualitative and quantitative methods. I have years of experience using quantitative methods include climate modelling (such as Mankendall), spatial analysis (GIS) and remote sensing; and qualitative methods such as in-depth interview, focus group discussion, text analysis, systematic review, People participation GIS.
