About

My passion lies in addressing women's health challenges to improve medical equity. I earned my Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering specializing in hydrogels for tissue engineering and am interested in developing novel biomimetic materials for translational applications in women's health. Specifically, my interests include creating biomimetic materials for therapeutic purposes or models and investigating gynecological devices. My strengths include creative thinking and innovative problem-solving skills, strong presentations and written documentation, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting or independently. With a background in chemical and biomedical engineering, and experience working in a variety of laboratory settings, my experiences range from basic cell culture and animal handling to hydrogel design and material testing.
