Naveen Adusumilli is an accomplished agricultural economist with a strong background in conservation policy-related research and extension work. He completed his PhD in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University in 2012, focusing on the economics of water resource management in agriculture. During his doctoral studies, he conducted extensive research on the impacts of climate change on agricultural production and the role of water markets in mitigating these impacts. After completing his PhD, Naveen joined Louisiana State University as an Extension Economist. In this role, he worked closely with farmers, policymakers, and other stakeholders to provide economic analysis and recommendations for improving agricultural productivity and sustainability.
